    Since December 1, 2025, Dr. Oliver Tietze, born in 1972, has been Chief Restructuring Officer (CRO) and has strengthened the Executive Board team during a crucial phase of change at DB Cargo. In this role, he ensures that important change and restructuring measures are implemented quickly and effectively at DB Cargo.

    Oliver Tietze brings more than 25 years of expertise in logistics transformation and digitalization to the table. He spent more than 15 years in management positions at Thyssenkrupp, where he was responsible for various business areas in need of realignment and restructuring, most recently as CEO/CFO of global plant engineering. After studying industrial engineering, he worked at McKinsey & Company for over six years. He has been an independent entrepreneur since 2021. The consulting and software company, which he runs with two partners, focuses on the digitalization and automation of logistics processes.

    Oliver Tietze lives with his wife and four daughters near Krefeld.
