    Pierre Timmermans has more than 20 years of logistics expertise and rail experience, including as CEO of the Czech freight railroad company AWT, as CEO of the container port group PSA International and as a board member and head of contract logistics at Frans Maas.

     Pierre Timmermans previously served as Board Member for Sales at DB Cargo from 2019 to 2024.

    Since 01.01.2025, Pierre Timmermans has been a member of the Board of Management for Rail Logistics. In addition to design and sales, the department is also responsible for the production and management of all DB Cargo's rail logistics services in Europe. This includes industry-specific block train and shuttle services as well as the cross-industry single wagonload network.

    The customers served by the Rail Logistics division are assigned to the four sectors "Steel", "Automotive", "Chemicals, Mineral Oil & Bulk Goods" and "Full Load Solutions".
