Tim Janotta has been working in rail freight transport since 2008. After completing his training as a "railwayman in operational service - train driver and transport", he held various positions in the freight sector: shunting attendant, wagon inspector, shunting locomotive driver, line and international train driver (Netherlands) and train formation dispatcher in one of the largest marshalling yards in Europe. He has also been a member of the works council at DB Cargo for many years.
