In 2025, DB Cargo will once again be taking part in the nationwide "Day of the Railway" - the highlight of European Mobility Week. From September 19 to 21, 2025, DB Cargo will be opening the doors at its locations and inviting you to experience rail freight transport in all its diversity. You can expect exciting insights, personal discussions and hands-on activities for the whole family.

Kick-off on September 19 in Coburg

The official kick-off for the Day of Rail will take place in Coburg this year, with a kick-off event organized by the Bavarian State Ministry. Together with partners from politics, business and society, the focus will be on the role of rail for sustainable mobility in the future.
