    The "BEST LOGISTICS BRAND" competition has a special feature: it is not possible to apply for it, but companies are nominated by an independent committee under the direction of Prof. Dr. Christian Kille, logistics expert at the Würzburg-Schweinfurt University of Applied Sciences. The committee selects the brands in twelve categories that generate the highest sales in Germany and are relevant to the market.

    In all categories together, more than 250 brands were nominated, which readers and experts were then able to vote for. Prizes were awarded for first to third place in each category.

    In the rail transport services category, DB Cargo prevailed over 18 other nominees, and this was already the second time, as DB Cargo also won first prize in this category in 2017. "For this, and on behalf of all DB Cargo employees, I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart," said Dr. Sigrid Nikutta, CEO of DB Cargo.

    "As the logistics industry, we are showing just how important we are, especially in these times. We supply the population with everything that is relevant: food, medicines, hygiene products. My sincere thanks go to the colleagues who work around the clock, day and night to ensure this logistics."
