Paperless processes have been established in logistics for many years. The real challenge today lies in reliable, end-to-end implementation along complex transport chains. Fewer manual work steps reduce the susceptibility to errors, and empty and incorrect runs can be avoided more effectively. This cuts costs and reduces fuel consumption at the same time. In addition, the elimination of paper-based transport orders saves up to 1.5 million sheets of paper within the transport chain every year. Thanks to this contribution, the app is now also certified a "This is green" measure by Deutsche Bahn.
Digital transportation also offers clear advantages when it comes to documentation. Proof of delivery is available promptly, archived in an audit-proof manner and automatically transmitted to defined groups of recipients.
