link2rail: More convenient than ever

Thanks to a new homepage and other improvements, link2rail's eServices are about to gain even more appeal.

For just shy of three years, the link2rail digital platform has provided eServices to manage freight transport. These have streamlined booking, monitoring and invoicing for rail freight. Now, the link2rail homepage has been visually and technically overhauled to keep it on the cutting edge and hone the user experience.

A modern user interface

During the revision, the site was also modernised in terms of its operation. In addition to the more intuitive user interface, one new feature is of particular importance for new customers: the new registration form makes it possible to contact link2rail eServices digitally; previously, this was only possible by telephone. The removal of this hurdle thus ensures a more attractive and easier access to link2rail.

The site will keep all the existing advantages its customers have come to expect. Anyone who has booked eServices that do not require registration can still use them directly on the homepage. These include DIUM and box2rail. Users can still access the other services such as link2rail Track&Trace in the usual way by logging in with their credentials.

API interfaces offer further improvements

The revamping of the link2rail homepage constitutes the latest step in boosting user-friendliness. It includes the implementation of API interfaces for the eServices link2rail Geofence Control and link2rail Track&Trace and (coming soon) link2rail Order (see post on API presentation).

One key detail hasn't changed, however: You can still access link2rail services at https://link2rail.dbcargo.com. All the information about the new homepage is also briefly summarized in a PDF available for download.
