We have amended the design and placed everything important at the top of your screen, that you can now find all the relevant information even faster. Update: More information, more precise figures, intuitive operation
We have optimised the beta version of the freight timetable relaunched in the summer and used the feedback from our users as well as internal tests to further improve the eService.
Among other things, the "Planner" can now calculate the different CO2 emissions resulting from transport by rail or road even more accurately. The system determines the environmental advantage with the help of an updated geocoding, which maps the different routes by rail and road.
Another new feature is the "Express Connection" search function developed together with our sales colleagues, which is currently being beta tested. This option enables the search for the fastest connections with pre-carriage and onward carriage by road, which now makes it possible to plan a fast route even without a direct rail connection. Now that the beta phase has been completed, our eService has also gone online just in time for the timetable change. DB Cargo's new winter timetable - like the new timetable for DB's local and long-distance services - has been in operation since 12 December 2021.
